Before You Arrive
Where are you located?
849 Sauble Falls Pkwy, South Bruce Peninsula, Ontario. Right across from Sauble Falls Provincial Park — about a 5-minute drive to Sauble Beach.
What is your camping season?
We're open May 1 to September 30.
How close are you to the beach?
Sauble Beach is approximately 5 minutes by car or 35 minutes on foot.
Do you have WiFi?
We do not offer campground WiFi. Most major carriers have good coverage in the Sauble Beach area.
Do you have a store on site?
Yes. Our camp store carries essentials including firewood, ice, propane, kindling, charcoal, bug spray, sunscreen, marshmallows, beer, wine, and Kawartha Dairy ice cream.
Can I bring my own firewood?
No. Due to the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) and other invasive pests, no outside firewood is permitted on site. Firewood is available for purchase at our camp store. We appreciate your cooperation in protecting local forests.
Reservations & Payment
How do I make a reservation?
Book online through CampLife at camplife.com or call us directly at the office.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. Deposits are required at the time of booking by valid VISA or Mastercard:
- Campsites: $100
- Rustic Cabin: $150
- House Trailer Rental: $300
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable $15 reservation fee. Cancellations made 14 or more days prior to arrival will receive a refund of the deposit minus the $15 fee. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival, including no-shows, forfeit the deposit in full. No refunds for early departures, inclement weather, or no-shows.
What are the long weekend policies?
A minimum 3-night stay is required on long weekends. Day visitors are not permitted on long weekends.
Is there an accommodation tax?
Yes. A 4% municipal accommodation tax applies to all bookings. All rates are also subject to 13% HST.
During Your Stay
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Check-out is at 12:00 PM (noon). Please register at the office before setting up on site. To extend your stay, re-register before 10:00 AM.
What are quiet hours?
Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Please turn off outside music, radios, and TVs at 11 PM. Children must be off the playground and tennis court by 9:00 PM. Excessive noise may result in eviction without refund.
Are campfires allowed?
Yes — every site has a fire pit. Fires must be extinguished by midnight. Do not move fire pits. Firewood is available for purchase at the camp store. Please never leave a fire unattended.
What are the washroom and shower facilities like?
We have clean flush toilet washrooms and coin-operated showers on site ($2/cycle). Change is available at the front office. A laundry facility is also available — $3 to wash, $3 to dry.
Can I have day visitors?
Yes. Day visitors pay $10/adult (vehicle included) and must be registered at the office. All day visitors must leave by 10:00 PM. Day visitors are not permitted on long weekends. Registered campers are responsible for their guests' conduct. Overnight guests must also register at the office.
What is the maximum per site?
One family per site with one car and one picnic table. Additional picnic table available for $3/night. Maximum 4 adults, 2 tents, and 2 vehicles per site. Extra charges apply for additional adults, camping units, or vehicles. Please do not walk across or onto another camper's site.
What is the speed limit?
Strictly 10 km/h throughout the park at all times. Watch for children, pets, bikes, and pedestrians.
How does garbage work?
Obtain garbage bags from the park office. Use only plastic bags, securely tied, and deposit them in the Garbage Barn at the camp entrance. Do not leave garbage, food, or coolers outside overnight as it attracts wildlife.
What are the sewage rules?
Only trailer holding tank waste may go down the sewer. Please dispose of cooking grease in a can or jar — never down the sewer.
Is alcohol permitted?
Alcohol is permitted on individual campsites only. Cans are permissible — no bottles please.
Pets
Are dogs allowed?
Yes. Dogs are permitted at $3/night per dog. Dogs must be on a secure leash at all times, kept quiet, and cleaned up after. Pets are not permitted in any buildings. Owners are responsible for cleanup. Incompatible pets may result in immediate eviction.
Are pets allowed in the cabin or trailer?
No. Pets are not permitted inside the rustic cabin or house trailer rental.
Vehicles & Electric Vehicles
Are motorcycles and ATVs allowed in the park?
Motorcycles and ATVs are permitted for entering and exiting the park only. They must idle in and out and are not to be operated throughout the campground.
How many vehicles are allowed per site?
One vehicle is included with your site. A maximum of two vehicles per site — additional vehicle is $7/night. You may also use the front parking lot (see front desk for details).
Do you charge for electric vehicles?
Yes. A $15/night EV fee applies to all electric vehicles, added at check-in. The fee applies whether or not the vehicle is connected to campground power.
Cabins & Rentals
What's included in the rustic cabin rental?
The rustic cabin includes hydro (electricity), running water, and bunk beds with mattresses. Guests must bring their own sleeping bag or linens. Pets not permitted inside the cabin.
What's included in the house trailer rental?
Our fully-equipped house trailer includes two private bedrooms (king & queen beds), full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, WiFi, pull-out couch, private deck, BBQ, and firepit. Guests should bring their own linens — available upon request for an additional fee.
What is the minimum stay for rentals?
3 nights on long weekends. Contact us to confirm minimum stay for your dates.
Damages
What is the damage policy?
Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay. The campground reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for damages up to a maximum of $500, depending on the extent of repairs required. Damage charges are assessed separately from the reservation deposit and only applied if damage occurs.
